Toubkal & M’Goun: la grande traversée
Colorful Berber valleys, high and distant plateaus, remote villages where we are introduced to the life and the ancient traditions of the Berbers.
In summer it is hot in Marrakech, the most southern royal city of Morocco. In the mountains of the High Atlas Mountains, we can find the coolness; ideal for a trek along the highest peaks of Morocco: Jebel Toubkal (4.167m) and Irghil M’Goun (4.068m.). During this long and very beautiful trek, we go camping and make bivaques in the middle of nature. Near a water source or a small mountain stream where we can refresh ourselves. This is the trip of trips; a traverse through the High Atlas. From the valley of the Ait Bouguemez – the valley of the blessed – to the Toubkal National Park. Including climbing the highest peaks. A camping trip of 22 days in which you are caught up in the rhythm of nature.
